Canara bank forget to activate online ecom supported on newly issue BINs:

Just 10 days ago, @Strange told me he got Canara bank RuPay jan dhan debit card but card is not working on e-com transaction. ATM and POS working.

Yesterday, another person told me he got Canara bank RuPay Platinum debit card but card is not working on e-com transaction. ATM and POS working.

Today, another person @Reaper told me he got Canara bank RuPay Classic debit card but card is not working on e-com transaction. ATM and POS working.

Note - e-com online transaction is already activated but card still not working on e-com (card otp page is not open).

All 3 new RuPay debit cards are issue on new BINs -

Canara bank RuPay jan dhan debit card - BIN - 817509 (solved after complaint to Canara bank support and bank manager)
Canara bank RuPay Platinum debit card - BIN - 652340 (solved with branch and branch forward the request to the backend with multiple follow ups)
Canara bank RuPay Classic debit card - BIN - 652339

Since, this hasn't happened to me. So i can't complain. Jo karna hai ab tumlogo ko he karna hai. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

You were saying that poor people's PMJDY Card's Ecom/otp page isn't enabled due to security issue and Bank/NPCI will enable them in future.

Anyway Phone support agent raised complaint with my branch. My branch manager called me then I explained her my issue after few days I got a call from some other guy from the branch, I asked him to escalate this issue to their debit card issuance or technical team and the next day my issue got resolved.

Now I am able to do transaction from my debit card but my problem is Amazon isn't recognising this as a debit card, Freecharge isn't allowing transaction through this debit card, unable to add this card in uber, phonepe.

When will this new BIN 817509 be supported at all online merchants.

@Abhishek012 Canara Bank support agent or branch employee never said such thing that this is PMJDY card and you are not allowed to do Ecom txns.
I think you are the only one who discriminates with Rupay PMJDY cards.
Banks ke liye sare debit cards ek saman hai.

Maine PMJDY card k bare me wohi bola jo kuch saal pahele tha, maine bola bhi tha kuch banks ecom enabled kiye hai PMJDY card pe but abhi bhi bahot se banks baki hai jisko PMJDY card pe ecom enabled karna hai.

Mai ads bhi padhta hu bahot se banks k jab woh log ecom enabled kar dete hai PMJDY card pe. Apne website pe post krte hai aaj bhi.

Anyways thanks for the solution. Try this method bro @Reaper

Waise Phonepe support "817509' BINs but you can't save this card on phonepe.

Uber pe shayad problem ho sakti hai.

Freecharge ?? well, freecharge support 8175 series BIN, na kare toh contact Freecharge customer care on twitter.

Amazon isn't recognising this as a debit card - Bahot se Rupay debit card nhi krte hai. Simple solution rc/bill pay k time agar card nhi show kare toh - use any other Amazon account for rc/bill pay (jaha se ajtak koi credit card use nhi kiye last 30days+ se).

Freecharge me complaint karo na Card BIN support nhi kr raha, bolna RuPay debit card hai yeh.

Freecharge me already 8175 series k BIN mai use kiya hu.

Uber ka pata nahi. RuPay support me bhi complaint kar sakte ho. Mera 3 hrs me solve kar diya tha. Jab paytm pe RuPay JCB debit card support nhi kar rahe the tab.

Uber ka latest version app hai na ?

just checked on Uber app -

When i enter RuPay BIN - 817504, 817506, 817511, 817516 (Uber app recognized this is RuPay BIN)

But when i enter 817509 BIN, no RuPay logo is showing on Uber app.

Canara Bank's complaint link is useless. "Online Grievances Registration and Status Tracking System" does not work the majority of the time and even if it opens by mistake, throws an error during submission. I even sent them an email but they routed me to the branch where branch executives have no idea what was wrong. Tried calling Customer Support initially, they insisted to enable e-comm transactions via ai1 app but after explaining to her multiple times finally registered a complaint.
Let's hope there is a positive response.
Any idea ideally who is responsible to activate these BINs? Is this something the card network (RuPay in this scenario) should take up or the action is pending from the bank's end?

When i enter RuPay BIN - 817504, 817506, 817511, 817516 (Uber app recognized this is RuPay BIN)

But when i enter 817509 BIN, no RuPay logo is showing on Uber app.

Does this make any sense?
In my scenario, every single app (Flipkart/Amazon/Paytm) recognizes RuPay BIN 652339 (RuPay logo shows up) but still, it fails to redirect me to the OTP page.
Card is not integrated with RuPay e-com BEPG gateway. Only Canara bank's technical team will solve this issue.

Already complained in canara bank branch after conversation with customer care.

Banks c.c and employee literary don't understand the problem. 15-20 mins to keep explaining ecom transaction is enabled. I already enabled/disabled with all available options (MB, IB, ATM) to check

24 hours already so far, complaint yesterday at 2 pm, employee told me to issue gets resolved in 24-48 hours

I really need to know, when this issue get resolved. If someone facing same issue, how do you fix this problem?

I need to get it resolved this by friday(30 june) so that I cannot miss the amazon pay bill offer for this month. Canara bank already has high charges i.e 500 rs and card is already working on pos/atms and already active. How do I compensate ? on it
