Bill Settlement Time

Hey everyone had a quick question,

How long does it take to settle credit card bill through HDFC Billpay or Mobikwik for axis credit cards (ACE if it matters).

Bill is due in few days but don't want to wait till very last moment as I have heard it takes some time for axis transactions to settle.

Also if I make payment today and it is settled on 4th, what will be considered as payment date 29th or 4th, supposing the due date is 3rd will my cibil reflect missed payment of its settled on 4th.

Fir hdfc billpay - takes 3-4 days. Date of payment is rejected as the actual date your made payment

In April 2023, it is getting credited the next working day. Did about 10-12 payments this month, all got credited the next working day
Previously it used to be 3-4 working days (though sometimes it happened even within an hour)

HDFC BillPay
3-4 working days for me (though some people get it within 2-3 working days)

It would usually considered as the 29th. That is what I've seen in my statement.
However, just yesterday someone on the forum wrote about a case where the date showed as 4th but Axis (I think) claimed they received it on the 10th (late fees were charged)

Yes. Good to make payments like on Mon or Tue so that payment through HDFC billpay gets settled in same week. Axis takes time like 5 working days sometimes.

All,
I made a partial payment for my Axis and Amex credit card using my wife’s HDFC billpay account on 23rd June. I immediately got a message from Amex and reflected in the Amex account on the next day as pending. Also showed as settled in 2 days. But did not get any message from Axis and is still not settled (today is 27th June).

How long should I wait before I contact customer care? Should I contact HDFC or axis bank?

I am worried because I did the rest of axis bank payment on 26th using MobiKwik and it reflected the by the night as settled on axis mobile app.

Any of you had similar issues and how was it sorted? I think I had similar delays when paid using my HDFC billpay in past but I can’t recollect properly.

I paid at 10pm on Friday so I guess it is ok to wait for some more time before panicking. I have time till 3rd July to pay the bill.

I paid my Axis card credit card full bill on 28 August at ~12 pm using HDFC Billpay, and I have a due date of 1 September. Payment is not reflected yet. Do you guys think my payment will be completed by 1st September? or shall I pay the minimum amount due just in case payment is not reflected by 1st September? Also even if my full payment is reflected in my credit card after 1st September, will consider 28 August as my bill pay date or consider the credit date as my bill payment date?

It should have reflected in your account by now ie end of day Aug 30
