I will be going to USA soon. I will be spending using Indian credit card for my personal spends. I've shortlisted 3 of my cards with lowest mark up -
HDFC regalia
Standard Chattered Ultimate
Indusind Legend
Hdfc offers some global program which generates additional cashback on foreign spends making it lowest charge of all.
Experts please suggest if hdfc will be good over other two. If there are other options please do share.

Global Value will give extra 1% back when you hit 1L international spending per billing cycle which is capped at 1k. Regalia's basic reward rate is 1.3. So even with global value, the return will be negative. Not an ideal card for the usage.
SC Ultimate will charge 3.5% markup but will return 1%. About .6%...

Legend does the same, charge at 3.5, then change it to 1.8% with cashback later on.

I've made a post on cards with best returns on international transactions. If you have them, use them, or else use Niyo Global card. It's debit card with 0% markup, easy to get

Looks like credit cards which I own are of no use to completely remove markup charge.
I already opened Fi account yesterday for this reason. Thanks for input

I have personally used Niyo global DC in EU & Asian countries. Had a problem at 1-2 POS only otherwise it worked flawlessly. I did my sampling & I concluded it charges around 0.16-0.18% markup but still better than most CC's
