how does it work? can I pay to my family members? do I need to shown any proof?
You need to provide PAN of the owner and bank account of owner. Sometimes, you were asked for rental agreement also. Go to redgirraffe.com and try creating an redgirraffe ID. It is straight forward

I agree but most of the cards which you can use on UPI, you will not be able to even offset your transaction charges with reward points. Even if you get some delta, reward rate will not be lucrative enough to do all that (atleast for me). Anyway I am still not a user of credit card on UPI. I recently got HDFC Neu card for UPI. Let me use that and then only I will be able to share my experience.

From last month I am using HDFC DCB with Redgirraffe through Payzapp. Net profit is around Rs 500 worth reward points, not bad.

For a rent of 18k, RedGirraffe charges Rs 83, and I get 600 points with the DCB card which is wort Re 1 when redeeming for travel. In the DCB statement, points for this transaction is coming under insurance payments.

Ya but I have heard that for rent above 50K, Redgiraffe require property ownership document also? Who is right mind will give property registration doc to them? 🙄

AU Zenith doesn’t charge any fees on first rental payment in a month and gives nearly 1% back. Gives a marginal profit when used on Redgiraffe.

Have a couple of queries:

- Has anyone paid rent through RedGirraffe using Citibank. The process is to pay using Citi’s app or website under Utilities section. How does it reflect on the bill - utility or rent. Asking since Citi does not reward points on Utilities.

- Has anyone tried paying Brokerage and deposit using Cred? Is the process seamless? And similar questions as above - under which category such payments reflect on the the CC statement?

Thanks,
