Best Cashback credit card for Offline Electronics Purchase?

Bravo Echo

TF Premier
Hi everyone,

I have some electronics purchases coming up in the next few months, and I’m specifically looking for cashback credit cards that work well for offline store purchases (not online).

I was considering the HDFC Pixel Play Credit Card since it gives 5% cashback at Croma and Reliance Digital, but then I realized the benefit is capped at just ₹500 per month, which doesn’t help much.

As of now, the best option in my wallet seems to be the HSBC Live+ Card, which gives unlimited 1.5% cashback on all spends.

A few points about my situation:

Purchases will be from offline stores only (likely LG, Samsung, Vijay Sales, Croma, or Reliance Digital).

I’m not into air miles/points, so only interested in flat cashback options.

Open to alternatives like buying gift vouchers at a higher discount online (if they can be redeemed offline at these stores).

Would appreciate your suggestions on:

1. Any better cashback cards for offline electronics that I might have overlooked.

2. Where to buy GV at higher discount with credit card if that would give better value.

Thanks in advance!

By flat cashback do you mean direct statement credit, or cashback in the form of Amazon pay balance or tata neu coins is fine for you?

If it is direct statement credit, go with sbi cashback, hdfc Swiggy, HSBC live+ etc. you will get 1 - 1.5 % cashback as statement credit.

If you are ok with cashback as amazon pay balance then use Amazon pay icici. You will get 1% cashback in Amazon pay wallet.

Or tata neu infinity 1.5% as neu coins.

By flat cashback I meant in the form of direct statement credit or in the form of reward points which could be used to convert as cash credit

Have live plus so ya that is my best 1.5% option rn

If UPI-CC is allowed, use kiwi cc. Can max to 4% effectively.
Also if the upi is phonepe, try loading phonepe gvs to it and use it. 3-4% depending on how you buy phonepe gvs.

Give your approx budget, I can calculate and suggest the best.
Oh yes completely forgot about kiwi, taking this into consideration

Can u tell the ways to buy phonepe GV's at best discounts?

Roughly spends will be in between 60k to 1L

Kiwi 🥝
I am unclear whether you have kiwi or gonna get one. If you want to apply, do that from cashkaro or zingoy.
You need to enroll in their neon subscription . And you need atleast 2L CL as it caps rewards at CL/2. I guess even after 1L , you may hit the rest 50K and this definitely rewards you ~4%. Nothing beats this.

PhonePe GV 📲
I haven't used it till now, as most of the merchants have paytm in my neighborhood. But what I understood is, you can buy PhonePe GV from maximize. But it has ~2% inconvenience fee. So, it brings down your effective CB on SBI CB to 3% . So, bite the 🥝

Cool!! Kiwi sounds much better and hassle free
Currently don't have kiwi card so will have to apply for this card, will do it by cashkaro or zingoy👍

10% is only for samsung shop right?
Also it gives edge rewards and not direct cashback which is kind of a deal breaker for me 🙃

Can edge rewards be converted as statment credit?
No 10% is for samsung products considering you buy from the merchant mentioned in their t&c.
It gives cashback which is posted as statement credit. Pasted the t&c link below for your reference
