I got this by default when I opened my account. I closed the physical card by calling customer care saying virtual card is enough for me. Guess CC team might be able to get for you.

You must have opened the account online I guess. Only online account comes with Virtual debit card by default.

They need to be generated as they are a one-time use card, and requires HDFC CC for that

For me, PNB offers Free RuPay Classic Debit Card (Virtual only)
ICICI Pockets, but it also has a physical variant.
These all are seperate "Virtual cards"
Even ICICi offers but it is same as your existing debit card...
