Axis Reserve Axis Airport Transfer + Meet and Greet experience in Hyderabad

We had planned a 15 day trip to Europe and UAE for 9 people. This meant we had a lot of luggage to haul around. This also meant we had a lot of international transactions coming up. Apart from this, I'm going to the US on business for the next 4 months, which meant again a lot of international spends coming up. This was the perfect opportunity to get the Axis Reserve and use it for myself and I got it in 2 days by C2C through showing a month's old statement from ICICI's sapphiro card which had 55L credit limit.

Now, coming to the experience,

We flew from HYD-CDG on 27th.
- Booked online through extraordinary weekends portal and gave a call to the concierge, they were absolutely clueless about the booking. Infinia's support is way better and coordinated.
- Emailed them regarding this, uploaded my boarding pass again, confirmed my details and still was left in the dark for 5 days.
- Escalated to the manager on the phone, and he confirmed the booking but said they can only provide the cab details 4 hours before and meet and greet only 2 hours prior the booking time. This was really frustrating as the uncertainty adds up to an already hard to coordinate group of 9.

- Then a day before, I get a call from the concierge saying vendor has accepted and both the booking are good to go.
The day comes, I get a call from the driver saying he's here and a C200 comes in front, and we book an SUV to go to the airport. 4 people in the Merc and rest 5 in the SUV with luggage. In between this chaos, I get a call from Encalm meet and greet in Hyderabad and the lady introduces herself and asks me to arrive at gate number 8.

Since we were 2 families, we had 2 Magnus and only I had reserve, we had to file 2 separate meet and greet booking and both were incredibly frustrating. Not something you expect from a HNI card.

We arrive at the gate and there are literally 4 porters and 2 agents meeting to assist us with our luggage and check in. We were checked in through the business class desk even though we were flying coach and immigration and security were done smoothly. They left us at the newly renovated horrible lounge at Hyderabad airport, and informed us when our flight had the final call and escorted us to the gate after an hour.

Meet and Greet Ratings:
Booking experience - 0/5
Service experience - 5/5

Airport Transfer Ratings:
Booking experience - 2/5
Service experience - 5/5

The thing is the vendors are great, but service from axis is horrendous. HDFC has trained employees who are SME's on the card and can verify doubts or promotions easily. Axis's support when compared to HDFC/Amex is almost clueless in regards to what their job description is. Axis' support does not have the IQ to actually process what the customer is asking for and what has to be done. Basically they saw a guy on the road who had a degree and gave them super premium support roles. Every department is different and has different support. Travel Edge support is different, Concierge is different, Credit card support is different, the voucher redemption support is different as well. This would have been great if people actually know how to do their job, but that's not the case here. Thank you for listening to my rant.

Axis always leaves us in the dark till the last minute for transfers and meet and greet, till the point that we assume maybe the booking has not happened only or got cancelled.. This is definitely something they need to work on.. They can learn a thing or two from Amex and Infinia concierge!

The experience log and rant are similar to others, and I appreciate such honest logs. But and this is a big one. My mind was subconsciously stuck at 55L credit limit. OP's single card has 55L limit.

My mind was stuck at the euphemism he used for Economy class. "flying coach".

It was indeed a great article.
