My father has a loan account with Union Bank and recently came across the RuPay Select Credit Card. It advertises 4 reward points per ₹100 spent, with each point valued at ₹0.25. That’s effectively a 1% reward rate, which sounds great!
However, the official website doesn’t provide much detail, and when I contacted customer care, they said the 4 points are only applicable on selective merchants. I specifically asked about UPI transactions, but they couldn’t confirm whether UPI spends earn full 4 points.
I also inquired about redemption charges and reward point validity, but again, no clear answers were provided.
Is anyone here actively using this card, especially for UPI payments?
