Amex is running an EOSS Promotional offer from July 29,2023 to August 15, 2023. Offer is valid only on spends made on rewards multiplier portal and not in case of buying Gift Vouchers from Amex Gyftr.

I think you would get only Rs. 5000 on spending Rs. 75000. It is like the spend up to 49999 would get 1500; spend up to 74999 would get 3000 etc

I’ve had absolutely horrid experiences.

During such an offer previously, I made a 75K transaction, which would have got me 5K voucher (by March 31st) and 5X points.

Neither happened because Amex didn’t have a record of the transaction.

My suggestion would be to tread cautiously with RM and such offers.

Recording the transaction can be a start.

But the sheer timeline for 5X crediting is a quite pathetic.

(5X is for Plat, for the uninitiated).

2) Buy Gold using this. Tanishq does not have any exclusions on buying Gold coins and bars. Use Amex Gold Card for it. You'll get straight 10% discount including the voucher. Else, use it on any of the mentioned partner brands.

Yeah, I usually just do my travel bookings through Amex RM->MMT. But with only 25k max monthly capping for amex mr, it doesn't make sense to book intl business class tickets (>5L) this way.

Amex extended it's 3rd June spend basis offer from 31st July to 17 August 2023. (Received an email regrading this)

Nope. This is similar to HDFC Smartbuy. Kimd of an affiliate program.

Me too. Just trying to figure if they sent email only to specific AmEx cards' holder as many people here didn't receive any notification. I received this email for my Gold Charge. What about you?
