Others link - works and you will get the points
Your own link - doesn’t work

Yes it works till you use someone's referral. You will get referral benefit & MR points but you can't use your own. It is mentioned in their TnC

Essentially to use Plat Travel MR points for Gold Collection, which is more rewarding instead of Plat Collection.

It does work if you have already have one, but you cant refer yourself. While the application will go through, you wont get any referral benefits. Either do a referral swap with someone who also wants to apply for second card (this is the most optimal way). Otherwise, DM me or one of the other folks in this thread for a referral.

Good to hear.. they are going very aggressive.. it seems.. they are now very serious about the Indian Market..
There may be some sort of devaluation coming soon, I suspect

I am not sure if this has been posted already, I was checking AMEX app and just noticed that AMEX is now offering Rs 1000 Amazon Voucher on top of the 8k bonus points for its first approved referral. And from second referral onward the amount is probably a bit less, its a bit unclear, it does mention that we can earn upto Rs 5500 Amazon vouchers by making more approved referrals before Jan 31st.

You will get stuck during video KYC i think unless your Adhaar address is in a serviceable area :/

The problem here is I live at the address mentioned in my Aadhaar which is unservicable by Amex.

Yeah, it will not be possible unless you are able to arrange some sort of rent agreement for a serviceable area. Again, better to connect with an Agent, they know what to fill in the forms.

Due to location issue, I am not able to apply for SC, HSBC, Amex, Citi (now not required) credit cards. I have credit cards from almost all other major private banks.

I do work mostly from home (WFH) so my office address is the same as my residential address.
