If you had applied one after another, you had a chance of getting the second one approved too. Now since your first one is approved, you’d need to wait for 90 days for the second one.

By the way how many days did it take for yours to get approved?

You can try applying but as my per understanding it would get declined .
But again that's a hit or miss.
As per my recent communication with Amex they are saying that second card can only be approved after 90 days of first card approval.

Don't try it will be rejected citing internal policy .

You can try. It's doesn't matter. Even if it gets rejected, you can again apply after 90 days. Chances of rejection are low.

Also, don't worry on CIBIL, in the end Credit card Cibil hit doesn't matter. I am working in lending business for 17 years and have handled loans from 1 lac to 100 crs. There will be no impact on your credit profile.

It takes around 11 days from application till approval.home verification is also done.
