I was confused over BOB Bro and Advantage SBA, finally went with Advantage without physical debit card, since it is a fully fledged BOB account. But since BOB world is down, I can't apply for a virtual debit card now, and cannot use for UPI, rendering the account almost useless, for now.

Yes, I got an sms and email again. And then able to reset password and login to internet banking. But no option to register in Bob world app.

I haven't got, because I was using Apay card previous, before opening a Mine account. But my friend got Mine LTF card offer in his Mine account after 5-6 months. He kept a MAB of 20K+ . Age 24

If you want a zero balance account that works and has features like a full fledged one, get SBI and next choice is ICICI Mine. You will get pre approved credit card (LTF) too in Mine account, if you don't have Apay card already.

Way too simple could be dangerous. On asking for Rupay Platinum, they handed me Rupay ATM ONLY card, with a daily cash withdrawal limit of 10K, and even assured me that this is what I was asking for. They don't know difference between debit and ATM card.

I got BOB Easy Rupay variant with a laughable limit of around ~20K. Is it any good, or should I ask for Visa Variant instead ?

Online kyc. No but according to hdfc website, urban/semi urban branches get Millenia DC and Rural gets Moneyback DC (until Few months back, Rural got Rupay Platinum by default)

My account opening experience was smooth as butter. But they sent a high priced millenia debit card instead of a Rupay plat/moneyback in a rural branch account.

HDFC Brand New Net Banking interface is also coming soon. Already teased in promo emails for some users. Much needed change.
