Apparently card is in beta testing. At a glance it looks it will soon become one of the most sought after beginner cards.

Joining fee: ₹500 waived on spending ₹20000 in first 90 days.

Annual fee: ₹500 waived on spending ₹100,000.

No eMail or no SMS. No notification in PayZapp. No status update at all.
Glad to see Innovative HDFC guys being busy at work.

For about 8-10 hours on Sunday (I applied on Saturday at 1240hrs), the card's
promotional banner in PayZapp home page is missing. Then made reappearance
at the same place, with the same content.

I hope you get it now why I told that!. There's still more., wait n see. Only time will tell

Today, being the 11th day, HDFC finally decided on a NO.

It says my eligibility does not match their internal policies.

Thank God, now my worries are removed. What would happen if HDFC were to change for the better ?

If it gives 3% above 5% usual cashback on Payzapp (total 8%) then I can consider it, otherwise it's quite useless for me.

You can easily get 5% cashback on the given category brands by buying gift vouchers.
