Apparently card is in beta testing. At a glance it looks it will soon become one of the most sought after beginner cards.

Joining fee: ₹500 waived on spending ₹20000 in first 90 days.

Annual fee: ₹500 waived on spending ₹100,000.

Last time, HDFC issued a CC - Tata Neu Infinity - to me, then put it on Dormant status. No joker knows the reason. No info came to me even after 13 emails...

So, all your good wishes n congrats are put on hold....

that was temporary. should have set card pin, adjusted card trxn settings, had done a trxn etc, and it would have gone away and status would be active, happened to me twice for 2 cards.

The card DID NOT reach me.
Made DORMANT before it was picked up by courier at Chennai n delivered to me at Tirupati.

I don't see any use with this card...

You have SBI cashback which already gives 5% in all the categories they have mentioned & more categories too.
With Amazon ICICI card, you get 1% on all categories (and many other cards)

Probably, HDFC customers may not have to do VKYC again. That's my hunch. Even for others - they are pulling the needed data from multiple Asset Aggregating agencies - which may not necessiate any VKYC again and again....

That's the logic. But logic hardly works with HDFC. So fingers crossed. The PayZapp app says wait for 48 hours after successful submission of online application.

Recently, RuPay held discussions with its shareholder banks (SBI, HDFC, BOB, Axis, ICICI etc) to launch customized credit cards.

I dnt know this is RuPay or not but in future we will see some customized RuPay credit cards.
