It's all over for paytm fastag, get it replaced with reliable oneWhats the point of sailing in storm? Close the Paytm Ft order another new one instantly & drive without any worry.
If Paytm resumes repeat the process again. Why taking so much stress in this faceless digital world
If you want that ease, go for Airtel FASTag. It’s the only FASTag in the market after Paytm, which offers the comfort of deducting money directly from your Airtel Wallet/Airtel Payments Bank savings account. You wouldn’t have to separately recharge the FASTag. Even if you have multiple vehicles and multiple FASTags, the money for all Airtel FASTags will get deducted from the same Airtel wallet. You will just need to recharge a single wallet once. Super convenient just like Paytm FASTag.I was a Paytm Fastag user till yesterday😔. Now I am looking for a new Fastag with features like Paytm, where there is no need to recharge the Fastag separately, toll is directly deducted from the wallet and it is easy to view transactions and manage the Fastag.
I have HDFC account and credit card. I am a regular Paytm user (huge fan) and also use Payzapp which gives Rs 20 cashback on every small payment made monthly. I also have an Amazon Pay (full KYC) account to use the vouchers I receive as gifts for achieving credit card milestones, but the features are so cluttered here in Amazon Pay so I don't use it often.
I don't want to install another app just to recharge new fastag and check balance. Currently, after Paytm, I am thinking of getting HDFC Fastag. What is your advice? Thank you
Although I personally chose Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag, after reading such good reviews everywhereIf you want that ease, go for Airtel FASTag. @venkateshr I have a query, how do you know that your Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag has been linked to your Amazon Prime account? Because when I ordered through the Amazon app, it redirected me to an ICICI Bank webpage (which had Amazon Pay logo also on top), but while ordering it never asked me my Amazon account details or anything, so I am not really confident that it got linked to my Apay account or not.Hopefully this post may benefit. I was on Paytm FT for last 2-3 years and moved around Nov last year to Amazon ICICI fastag (primarily because it was giving some issues intermittently). Ordered on Amazon. FT got delivered in a week and have been using it since. 2-3 advantages i could see immediately.
1,. Using imobile app can recharge seamlessly using ICICI CCs without any charges. If you have multiple ICICI CCs you get pts as well i think. Apay anyway gives 1% as CB.
2. Apay tag can be used to pay for fuel loads at petrol pumps (have heard this but not used it till now as i have a normal fuel CC card anyway)
3. Many recharge offers on Park+ do work and there are no exclusions like paytm and airtel fastags.
4. ICICI have a detailed fastag portal - https://fastaglogin.icicibank.com/ - was surprised to see so much work behind this and was impressed with ICICI bank developers for doing this. Whether useful or not is another matter but it did look good once logged in.
Negatives: You can't withdraw the wallet balance to bank like Paytm which many used to do i guess.
Overall happy with the Amazon icici fasttag
This is helpful. Just checking if there is any other bank/NBFC that provides similar facility where the amount can be deducted from some sort of wallet or bank account? If you want that ease, go for Airtel FASTag. Livquik . .This is helpful. Just checking if there is any other bank/NBFC that provides similar facility where the amount can be deducted from some sort of wallet or bank account?
I don't want to recharge a wallet specifically for Fastag and keep the amount blocked since my car rarely crosses any toll.
I don't think mine is linked. I can't even recharge using Apay vouchers. Mine was ordered via Amazon. But fulfilment and mgmt is only via icici. I use only imobile app (in which my Amazon icici card is visible) for recharging the icici tag. I believe I get az pts for the recharge. Not closely checked the stmt though. As I said earlier, my usage is not more than 3k-4k per month in which case that 1% of 30-40 bucks is almost non-consequential.@venkateshr I have a query, how do you know that your Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag has been linked to your Amazon Prime account? Because if it did not get linked to my Amazon Prime account, then I might not get the 1% CB on toll transactions either.
I guess Livquik is there other than Airtel, but out of these 2, I would choose Airtel because Airtel seems more trustworthy and well settled to me. But I’ve heard you can get 5% CB or something using SBI Cashback CC with Livquik FASTag recharge, not sure but I read it somewhere. If that matters more to you then you can go for Livquik. This is helpful. Use airtel payments bank issued fasttag. it has the same option as paytm. deductions happen frmo airtel walletI was a Paytm Fastag user till yesterday😔. Tried opening Airtel bank account, but their system is bad. Random errors everytime I am trying to do and it asks to visit their touch points.Use airtel payments bank issued fasttag. it has the same option as paytm. deductions happen frmo airtel wallet
No i'm not sure about that. Haven't gone and rechecked it in detail. So you’re not sure if you’re getting 1% cashback for your toll spends, since you’re an Amazon Prime member?
I finally replaced my PayTM Fastag. Here is my experience:I have a company allotted vehicle with a PayTM Fastag. Is there such thing as taking Fastag under Individual name in my case for my car or do I have to go for Corporate registration only? Also which provider is easier to obtain for Corporate registrations?
Great . Thanks for sharingI finally replaced my PayTM Fastag. Here is my experience:
Last Friday our office had arranged counters from HDFC & ICICI Banks to help employees replace their PayTM Fastags.
Firstly, there was no issue of corporate ownership since the Fastag can be on Individual name even for Company owned vehicles. I did not have to submit any company documents. Out of the two banks I had accounts with both but I chose ICICI.
I placed a request to close my PayTM Fastag on the app. It was marked for deletion. Immediately within minutes, I applied for ICICI Fastag and the new Fastag was activated instantly and handed over to me on the spot. There is no need for the old Fastag deactivation process to be complete to register & activate the new card. In fact my colleague did not even place the request for closing PayTM Fastag and managed to activate the new ICICI Fastag. The colleague was even able to use the new ICICI Fastag on the same day.
Hope the above helps.
Does using Airtel Axis CC give 25% for Airtel fastag? If you want that ease, go for Airtel FASTag.
