A new term courtesy of HDFC: "Pre-eligible"

HDFC Whatsapped me this message today. I have heard of pre-approved and pre-qualified before, but pre-eligible is something new for me. What does it mean? Is it same as as pre-approved?

HDFC Swiggy card have no influence sepcifically on other banks' cards decision unless your overall profile doesn't match with the respctive banks' criteria.

There will be a cibil hit. But don’t get too concerned about that. Nothing will happen to your credit score.

Closed card was Indian oil , now they are giving money-back. Weird bank 😒

-Age 20 ?
-Student digisave youth account ?
- Onecard activated on another no. With same PAN ?

The first two points are definitely not the reason since I had a HDFC card at 18 and account type does not matter for card application. Why not send a mail to PNO, as it could be the last point which got you denied.

It seems you need to wait for some more time to kick in your new profile..

If it is January, it should have been accounted for already.. generally in maximum of 6 months it will kick in...

No, if will be difficult to get RG/ DCB from Biz cards.. but I read few times some got Millenia from Biz cards , but it is a rarity..

Yes , please update it to Salaried again by making some modification to the exisitng data.. I feel somehow it didn't trigger an update in the data last time..

Same because the age limit is 21
I checked after rejection recieved from HDFC
