i used to juggle between cards so i paid one card dues with another and another card with that so it piled up like that

The title should have read like below ..…

“ The Vacation that ruined my finances”
NOT
“ Opening too many credit cards has ruined my finances”
because OP was absolutely fine for 4 years with these credit cards...

One of my college time friend who has 8-9 credit cards. He was previously working in Accenture but from past 2 years he's jobless. Only using credit card for lifestyle & using other credit card to transfer fund from wallet to bank to pay of bills of CC.

I told him many times to close cards & find any job with stable income. But he's happily doing this from 2 years & wish to continue till I don't know 😑

Agree. Even CB can't overcome the interest charged by the bank later.

Back in 2020 i started watching technofino and got intrigued by cc community i was 19 at that time. took a fd an opened my first cc under sbicards. used that card and cards after that to make more cards right now with like 11 lacs combined with zero income in 2024. i used to use methods like upi payment and apps to pay cc bills with my other ccs and used to juggle between them with 0% interest. last two months i was MIA in remote location for vacation. didnt use my phone much. now the interest and charges that incurred were crazy idk how ill pay it back as my cards got closed too. Im a active user in this forum hence using this alt account to post.

i havent calculated but should be around 3.5 ish spread across 4 cards

Then clear smaller dues of card.
The one with highest limit & 2nd highest use those card 80-90% limit in one wallet reload & make them into emi


Now u will say how will u pay emi .. that is what u have to think .

Talk to parents & pay off slowly..
