Byproduct of employing third grade IT team .. this issue should have never happened in the dreams also...
And also,
As part of cost cutting, they remove many IT employees, putting massive pressure on the current employees ,leading to these kinds of catastrophic events..

They have to understand where to cut to the costs and most importantly where NOT to... or else face the consequences ..

Quality of the staff at critical positions is of paramount importance and quality comes at a price ..
Yes with GenX, Millennial customers who are expecting the digital tech should have strong IT and tech support which they lacked.

Yes quality comes at price.

RBI must take action against such data security breaches.
If kotak can be banned then ICICI must be held responsible.

Hope RBI takes cognizance of this event and take some action as soon as possible and hope that ICICI Bank learns an important lesson to improve it's data and IT infrastructure.

maybe i have taken advantage of this mess by icici and ordered some expensive items from outside India....maybe i have not done that...who knows....someone's loss is someone's gain......

I think it's going to take a lot of time. They have to identify the glitch, correct it and test in the backend before making it live for all customers.

They also have to check for any fraudulent activity for the leaked card details etc.

To say the least, ICICI is now in deep sh*t!
I keep all transaction channels turned off on all my credit cards, and currently, I don't have to buy anything using my ICICI credit card. Therefore, there's no issue for me. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

This is where you are exactly and precisely wrong..

The problem here is:
Some other guy might have had access to your cards and he /she might had changed the access controls and you know what happens next...

I heard only iOS users are affected, Is this true? I didn't see any extra card in the iMobile app.
I am an iOS user, I didn't see anyone else's data.. that doesn't mean others in this planet had not seen my cards data in their APP...

Yes of course ... but what can you do after the incidence excep raising the fraud transaction ...
If they are smart .. they will just note down all the data and can use it at later time ...
