IDFC First Wealth Account eligibility requirement and benefits

Hello,

IDFC website doesn't seem to list the eligibility criteria for opening an IDFC First Wealth Account.
From your recent first hand experience, could you please share the eligibility criteria?
Does the criteria need to be maintained throughout the lifetime of the Wealth account, similar to Axis Burgundy account, to avoid account downgrade?
Also, what credit cards one can expect or negotiate to get offered?
FYI, I'm not an existing IDFC customer.

see, if you can afford 10L for one week to 10 days.. its done deal..
I have opened IDFC 0 MAB account yesterday, transeffered 10L today and would get my Welath upgrade by next week.. and then transfer all that 10L to my preferred account..

bro is it ok to withdraw all amount after wealth upgrade? will they downgrade it or you have written confirmation for non downgradation?

yeah, this not happening. banking programs exist for far longer than credit cards.

So in near future it will be a trouble to visit branch and close the account.
I recently had a similar experience with standard chartered premium account and ICICI wealth management account as well.
Learnt my lesson.

You can withdraw , but at the same time they can downgrade in future as well,
What I got was:
I got a 0 account first and then wealth next.
So if they downgrade my wealth to normal , I won’t be charged for NMC.

actually I was planning to get free locker with wealth but i guess its better to get from some PSU banks for 2500 per year than private banks and then pay hefty amount in future as they can downgrade the account any time and charge for locker.

got ICICI Wealth with 1 lakh funding, used for only 2-3 months and it got downgraded to 25k MAB account so I closed it. good part was that the bank branch was only 200m from my house so not much trouble for me.

actually I was planning to get free locker with wealth but i guess its better to get from some PSU banks for 2500 per year than private banks and then pay hefty amount in future as they can downgrade the account any time and charge for locker.

I was roaming around for many banks and all of them need ULIP plan to get the locker, even if I booked through app still they demanding and throwing random excuses. Not sure a particular banking program directly provide prestigious locker just like that, and if we're going through some plans then HNI program itself might not required, IMO.

Finally account upgraded to wealth. Transferred 10 lakhs and got the account upgraded. Waiting for welcome kit.

Can we use the existing platinum card once account is changed to wealth for points, already reached my point threshold for this month (ie) 8000 on regular account ?

I pestered the guy ghosting me enough that he finally picked up the call today. I received the sms and I've given consent now. Let's see how much time they'll take to process the card.

@S S V I got my account upgraded today. My relationship manager confirmed it now and I can see Wealth reflecting in the app. No SMS or email so far though. No updates on whether the welcome kit is shipped as well.
