Is Indusind indie account useful?

I have posted here, earlier about my requirement.
I have a HDFC salary account with Milennia DC. I also have HDFC DCB card. But no 0 forex.
Tried applying for Niyo. But my passport was issued when I lived there, so they rejected it.
Recently read about Indusind Indie bank.
I am looking for a debit card with 0 forex. Low markup.
visa/mastercard platform.
low fee, preferrably zero balance, or low balance.
Not looking for lounge access or cashbacks.
Not looking for 100k maintenance account.

so, Is Indie account fit my requirement?
Has anyone used Indi debit card in foreign country ATMs?
Does it work fine?

I put 50k, now I see the status is superstar...not megastar. seems strange..
ok, how to complaint to them?? twitter or something else?

You need to keep following up and complaining to get the megastar. Wait for 2 days and then do it.

Ab mega star tier main upgrade 10-15 mins ke andar ho jata hain....sirf criteria yehi Hain ki working day hona chaiye Saturday Sunday agar hoga to delay ho jayega.....

Indie are a bunch of complete jokers. Deposited 50k, they made it a star account. Then when one goes for Video KYC, they give an error. Then somehow the KYC link works, but one has to wait forever. Not managed to get KYC done yet.

Ok, took > 10 min to connect to KYC personnel. Not that much in absolute terms, but a lot compared to what others take, which is ~10s for Niyo (Equitas, DCB), or AU.

KYC status now "verification in progress". Hopefully the tier will sort itself out.

their app is slow. my vkyc got stuck, then it worked in 2nd attempt. then i deposited 50k, did not get megastar status. cust care said, to withdraw money and then put it back again. so, i will credit the money again on monday and see if this works or not. else,i will not use the account anymore..
i need a debit card with zero forex thats all. indie offers that.

That's my need too. I have Niyo's Equitas & DCB. I guess all 3 are the same, but there are some complaints of withdrawals not working (this is apart from the SBM issue). So good to have a backup. Another plus is there's an Indusind branch right next to my home.

Indusind banks KYC process has lot of issues it seems. While opening digital account I completed KYC but CC mentioned they haven't received KYC details. Finally I recieved kyc completed status after a month.

Yes, but when i went to kolkata branch, the guy said, needs to maintain 2 lakhs MAB. to get the exclusive debit card.

Indus have alot of problems with tech..

I have the worst experience with them..

They took 2 month to link my customer id to my no..(after multiple call, email & visits)

And after changing my phone i am unable use fingerprint unlock in indus app..

i dont have any relation with indusind bank. indie is the only thing i have .
