RBL Classic Account with MAB 2.5k do exist.
I myself and few fellow memebers successfully opened it.

But twist is , you have to go an extra mile to convenience them.

Meet Branch BM and ask BM directly to Open RBL Classic and Show the BM, SOC of RBL Classic Account which is the only offical source available on Website which mention about RBL Classic Account.

Ask BM either open it or wait for Complaint against Branch.

If BM still deny then DM the RBL Twitter handle and ask them:-

"Branch is not co-operating with me and denied me to Open RBL Classic Account. Raise the complaint against Branch and take strict action against the Branch.

I did the same and same day Branch BM called me and asked me to visit Branch to complete the Formalities

It depends upon your BM , how he/she take the complaint, seriously or as usual pass fake comments to close the complaint

So you have to stick to your point while raising the complaint and dealing with BM


This Zero Balance, no more exist.
It is discontinued for fresh sourcing long ago

Right now RBL is sourcing only this 5k MAB digital Account.

Banks Employee show they are illiterate but actually they think we, the customers are fool and we will believe, whatever they would tell us and try their best to make most of their benift from us.

So, directly Meet the BM to get the RBL Classic Account or Follow the Twitter Route to get it opened.

RBL Classic Account with MAB 2.5k do exist.

But they don't open it in every branch. In the urban branch, they don't open a 2.5K MAB account. I sat with the BM and tried to convince him. He agreed that this account exists but not in Urban branches.
Although I did not try the RBI word with them. 😅

Off to a rough start.
I wanted to get this card hence tried opening the digital prime account with 5k MAB. Did Video KYC yesterday and deposited Rs 7000 in it. Today I checked the status by the track application method and it shows failed. Funny thing is there has been no communication/sms/mail from RBL about anything. Nothing about videokyc completed, amount deposited or even the failed status of account opening.

I got my card details a few days ago on the app and am waiting for physical delivery. I don't see any place in the RBL app or netbanking to see how many debit card reward points are there, and the RBL gyftr link says i am not eligible yet.
The place to see accumulated points is gyftr itself i assume? If that joining voucher and stuff is going to come 30 days after delivery and gyftr link gets activated at that time, then i won't be able to even see my points for the spends i make till then? Won't be able to confirm if various merchant MCC are giving points if so. Can I still make my cc bill payments on cred or Paytm and trust that there are no exclusions and I'll get points if I use the card even before physical delivery?
