DCB Diners Club Tools and Travel App - Priority pass Digital membership

I have a DCB card. While logging in Diners Club Tools and Travel app in the personalized section, I am being redirected to priority pass account. If I enter my card details there will I be charged?

Diners Club FAQ is unclear, HDFC bank Customer Care says Priority pass is anyway not required. So just wanted to understand if I will be charged or not?

The priority pass digital membership is provided by Diners Club International for their customers and current validity date is till December 2023

Wow, how did i miss this thread.
Free priority pass with unlimited domestic and international lounge apart from usual DCB access. That's fantastic.

Edit: Seems like card and priority pass are already linked. I just registered now, but I can see my international visit done in March earlier this year using card directly. No entry for domestic accesses though.

Is diners club black credit card digital priority pass chargeable in domestic lounges? Did anyone get charged?

Can i register through RuPay discover/diners club card ? :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Which RuPay Diners/Discover card you tried ?

RuPay discover/diners club cards are 100% discover/diners club cards but work on RuPay card network.

These cards have discover/diners club card BIN and discover/diners club card EMV chips. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Diners/Discover give licensed to use the EMV Chip and BIN of their cards and issue under RuPay brand cards in India.

Diners app is linked to HDFC bank phone number so not possible I think. As Diners card are already linked to diners app (dreamfolks) and cannot be added directly to dreamfolks web . On the other hand rupay neu infinity directly added to dreamfolks web.

In 080 T1 Domestic I wanted to swipe twice since I reached before 3hrs, but the receptionist said I would get charged if I swipe twice. Is this true? She also said the same about swiping Magnus twice.
Then I tried the PP linked with DCB on PP app but it was failing continuosly. Can we only use it in International airports?

Does it mean there are rupay cards with 14 digits? Or by bin, u only mean first 8 digits?

Yep, I always use same card multiple times in case of long layover.

It even works for multiple swipe back to back. But there are chances that bank may detect it as misuse or gues visit. So I avoid that.

Interesting that it didn't work for domestic access. I thought I read someone mentioned in this thread that he used for domestic access and didn't get charged after 6 months also.

If it doesn't work, then it's just a convinience that u don't have to carry physical card for international access and other than that, it's just same account, as even past international visits using card are showing up in pp account.
