How many bank accounts do you have and for what purposes?

TF Select
I hold following bank accounts

  1. ICICI Bank (Savings) - For salary crediting and investments
  2. IDFC First Bank (Savings) - for savings purposes, it gives good rate of interest.
  3. DBS - Idk why I am still holding this.
  4. Paytm Payments Bank - Had opened it long back, not sure why I am holding this too.
  5. Fi.money - For day to day transactions as my primary savings account would get cluttered with few hundred rupees transactions.
  6. Jupiter - Had opened alongside with Fi, thinking to close this.

SBI wealth, ICICI Wealth Management, HDFC Imperia, and Axis Burgundy are somethings that I am looking at.

Don't even think about SBI Wealth. Your experience will be worse than that for a regular SBI account, because it basically adds nothing, but your dissatisfaction and disappointment levels will hurt much more due to the elevated expectations.
.

Let me know if you’re looking for a secretary to manage these juggernaut number of accounts.

I want to upgrade some of my bank accounts to higher variants. But everything needs very high MAB or TRV. Have been trying various ways. Will see if something works out.
SBI wealth, ICICI Wealth Management, HDFC Imperia, and Axis Burgundy are somethings that I am looking at.
I have premium accounts in a lot of banks but when it comes to customer requirements and service - all are useless.
I don’t have SBI Wealth and I have no intention to get it.
Personal contacts in banks matter if you can find but that also fails at times.

100% true. Like I told, premium accounts are only to get a high for ourselves and satisfy our ego and get happiness.
When it comes to real work, I always contact my friends in banks and get things done. Someone or there other will be there in any branch.
In hometown, most branches are nearby only and all of them know us personally. So it is easy to get things done.

My thoughts exactly 😇

Here's my list of bank accounts:
  • IDFC First Select: Salary + Savings (> 5L @7%)
  • Slice: Savings (< 5L @ repo rate) & UPI
  • HDFC Regular (5k AMB): Investment related txns & HDFC offers
  • ICICI Privilege: Family Banking w/ Family DC
  • Indusind Exclusive: 0 Forex + Movies (0 AMB with Pinnacle CC)
  • SBI Basic: Oldest acc + Pragati DC benefits
  • Niyo SBM & DCB(5k AMB): 0 Forex Cards (will close soon.. DCB at least)
  • Canara Savings: For CC (probably closing)
If you guys have any suggestions about these let's hear them. I feel like this is not too much once I close one or two. Most of them are 0 AMB accounts.

1. HSBC - Salary Account - For 5% DC Cashback and Live+ CC
2. ICICI - Salary Account - Got it when I was working with ICICI Bank. Still tagged as Salary account.
3. Kotak - Savings Account - Has to be the most fuss free Bank account. Use it most frequently.
4. IOB - Savings Account - Opened it for the IOB Rupay Select Card
5. Equitas Bank - Opened for Niyo Debit Card. Has marginally higher interest rates. Hence, have kept it or else would have closed the account.
6. SBI - Savings Account - Don't use it much now.
7. PNB - Savings Account - Opened it as part of Education loan. Don't use it much now.
