I have icic az cc & cb cc cards like swiggy so maybe yes asv might be not helpful as I already get 5% on shopping. If it was apay I would have not thought much. Not sure what is left for being happy by paying 0.6% extra..0.3% is ok but 0.6% no ok for me for big amount. Right now it's just last option Else sbi VDCDepends bro. I a lot of users would be happy with lets say 1% reward in form of Amazon shopping voucher. Since they use Amazon a lot. Maybe its not beneficial for you.
IDFC RUPAY on phonepe won't fetch you any rewards.Try with idfc rupay on phone pe. No convenience charges and you might get reward points
Can you give example with one of day to day basis voucher such as Asv or similar?Absolutely
You would earn approx 1700-1750 after fees of phonepe and redemption fees on IDFC app.
First 50K you get 0.5% cb rsIs it worth paying extra 900rs charges (0.6% of 1.5L bill) for I d f c select account? Is it really worth after conversion. if yes how & for what? As I know we can't convert to cash.
Yeah but for that check previous post & look for merchant shared by many & then only proceed & yeah we cannot confirm if asv or one of important voucher will stay forever..I'm also in same dilemma. Imho I don't think so if it's worth. Imagine not getting reward points or idfc removing asv from redemption. If you have small bill, maybe divide in parts for 0.3 percent surcharge
Nope it's not working for sure & It's not small amount to try 😅Try with idfc rupay on phone pe. No convenience charges and you might get reward points
ASV, Amazon Fresh and Bigbasket. Can you give example with one of day to day basis voucher such as Asv or similar?
What is the rewards ratio here?Right now it's just last option Else sbi VDC
Thank you bro for calculation but how it's cb in rs? We can't redeem to cash right? That's why I am looking for practical example & it's calculation with voucher as only voucher is redemption option we have. Then I will be checking it's market % rate if it's actually worth spending extra 0.6% or not.First 50K you get 0.5% cb rs
Next its 2.5% cb in rs
so your cashback is (50000*0.5 + 100000*2.5)/100 = 2750 rs

by rs i meant cash equivalent instead of points . so you can redeems that 2750 rs worth GVs like asv . There is a redemption of 99+gst though.Thank you bro for calculation but how it's cb in rs? I guess 0.25% & cc bill payment was possible earlier with those points which option removed now. I am not aware of latest updates though. What is the rewards ratio here?
In case you have already spent 50K in a month and this payment is over and above 50K then it makes sense as it would be 2.5% reward rate regardless of the DC variant...and in this case you will end up getting 1.9% net which is a pretty good reward rate for a DC and that too for CC payments. Also, if you have huge bill, say, 1.5L-2L or more than too it makes sense. For anything < 50K in total a month, it wouldn't as for Wealth DC it'd be just 4 points/150 Rs...reward rate is mere 0.67%, paying 0.6% doesn't make sense and I wouldn't do it.Is it worth paying extra 900rs charges (0.6% of 1.5L bill) for I d f c select account? It means 2750 worth gv we get free right? ..now I get it ..thanksby rs i meant cash equivalent instead of points . so you can redeems that 2750 rs worth GVs like asv . There is a redemption of 99+gst though.

no for normal 10k, 25k account will fetch 1.67% after 50kIn case you have already spent 50K in a month and this payment is over and above 50K then it makes sense as it would be 2.5% reward rate regardless of the DC variant...and in this case you will end up getting 1.9% net which is a pretty good reward rate for a DC and that too for CC payments.
