How many days it took for approval

I've submitted the online form e-signed last monday, today got it delivered, though app was showing the card from Thursday I guess

Finally, my card has been approved and is now visible in the HSBC mobile app.


Initially, HSBC was not willing to issue a new Rupay Cashback card, stating that I had already reached the maximum credit limit on my existing cards (platinum and live+). I then requested them to reduce my existing credit limit to 30% and issue a new card. After a long wait, they finally agreed — they reduced my existing card limit from 8 lakhs to 5 lakhs and issued a new card with a 6 lakh limit.

Guys,

I received both Rupay credit card and limit enhancement over my Live+ card.

The Rupay card applied on 19th July 2025 and the limit enhancement offer came on 21st july.

Today, I could see the limit changed 😊

Customers like me & few folks in this thread got the call from HSBC before made it public (I guess on July 15th 2025).
Over the call shared all info & signed Adobe bla bla.... that received via mail (same chukiya process from last 6 years). The card approved over call itself --> this might be due to existing customer.
But being the existing customer they almost asked me everything like salary slips, account statement, blood group, habits, ups & downs... 😂
The best part is --> she said as you're existing customer so, you don't need to do VKyc.

The service is good but very very slow. This is my 3rd card with HSBC.
