Whenever I tried RUPAY DC, it would come PHONEPEPRI or something other
But whenever i have used VISA DC, I have always got 'www.phonepe.com' and RP's are credited instantly.
So try VISA DC and on OTP page merchant name shall be www.phonepe.com
If not coming, cancel that transaction and try again. May be after few trials, close app and try again..
Try with ADD on Visa DC if any...

Who is "they".?
It's not in the hands of savesage, I have always said merchant doesn't decide mcc code. It's the pg/bank who does.
If merchant misrepresented themselves when setting up payment system with the bank, sooner or later bank will correct it and if the mistake wasn't from the bank side but intentionally from the merchant side, they will have to bear losses/court case.
So when you say they, let me say, it's the pg/bank who changed it to the correct business nature of savesage, not savesage themselves changed it.

How many "2000 x" transactions can I do in a day / 24 hrs. Is there a limit to this number? Or can I simply keep paying less than 2000 until I hit my bill amount??

Good news for IDFC Rupay DC card holders!
After they've blocked transactions on certain merchants, we've a much better solution which probably can't be reported ( I hope ) - and is giving points equivalent to 2.5% value for Credit Card bill payments.
Paid my Axis Bill and it gave 2.5% equivalent points.

Did for Axis, got the RP instantly with my IDFC Rupay dc. Paid 4k bill for axis airtel cc via axis gateway link in that tweet. Amount already reflecting in card with bill settled, RP also reflecting.
