Tata neu infinity to DCB metal upgrade Help

I request for Infinia or DCB metal and after many mail to grievance got templates reply, but got the luck after sent mail to PNO.
5 Aug - "In the event you wish to avail the aforesaid card upgrade, we request you to revert to us from your registered e-mail id with the below details / sharing your acceptance to enable us review your upgrade request subject to internal checks." (From pno help desk)
5 Aug - i sent acceptance mail
8 Aug - Recived new case id and mail from grievance
"This is with reference to your recent e-mail dated August 04,2025 regarding the HDFC Bank credit card.

We wish to inform you that we are looking into your concerns raised regarding your HDFC Bank credit card account and shall respond to you on August 22, 2025.We request you to bear with us in the interim."
I am confused now will get dcb metal or they doing again reprocessing.

Recently I was trying to upgrade my regalia to infinia/DCB..
I had spend on Tata Neu infinity and wanted to upgrade regalia on the basis of spends on tata neu infinity but hdfc denied and later informed that regalia cant be upgraded as spends are on tata neu infinity and tata neu infinity cant be upgraded because it is a co-branded card.
So be ready for the denial of upgrade as well.

So be ready fir the denial of upgrade as well.
They denied i escleteded to PNO, and now they ready to give upgrade.
 
How much time they take after email ?
2-3 working days ( it can be longer, every case is different) after I accepted terms for upgrade. Then they sent mail that they are willing to offer FYF DCB Metal as an upgrade. I needed to give my consent for acceptance of things they asked & it was approved on next few working days.

I did email with acceptance on same night 5 Aug, let's see today is 3rd day. They closed old pno ticket on 6 Aug and and opened new ticket with grievance on 8 Aug around 1 AM.

Like @Ram1 said, if your card limit is more than 5L, you will be upgraded, no issues. There may be a slight hiccup, since sometimes it also depends on who handles your case. But even if they deny on the first try, just close the original email thread and request a new one.

Also try the grievance team email; they are faster in response.

Actually I started with infinia then DCB LTF and in last did mail to pno
  • Please confirm my eligibility and process for obtaining: HDFC Infinia Credit Card, or Diners Club Black Metal Credit Card (LTF or paid)
  • Clarify whether a product change from my existing card is possible, and if any “one card per customer” policy applies.
  • Kindly provide a clear, final resolution.
After that I recived the offer oder DCB FYF.
