Check with CS, MCC is eligible for RPs or not

yes but you can't use those points for anything. It will be locked there untill you reach some 10k points. (so as to buy something useful)
Basically those SBI reward points have become almost useless.

Had made a payment on 4 august through savesage. Did not receive points instantly. Raised a request with IDFC customer care for MCC verification. They confirmed today that the transaction is eligible and reward points will be credited within 14 working days.

I called yesterday they told me it's not possible for them to tell about the points eligibility for the transaction before 15th of aug as it is done in batches of 15days

Merchant: WWW PHONEPE COM (OTP msg must show phonepe)
Charges: <₹2K → 0.3%, ≥₹2K → 0.6%
Try www phone pe com too (with spaces)

Please try with a small amount like 100 or 200 and check if points are credited instantly...
