Hello Guys,
I used my hsbc visa debit card on SaveSage app for bill payment, the mcc code is 7392 - which shows management, consulting, public relations services.
Does anyone know if this would fetch me 5% cb ?

also does anyone what what would be the mcc on the zavo app for hsbc dc and if that would fetch reward points.
also same query for gudscore app ?
You need to have salary credit to be eligible for the cashback. I have received in the last 2 months with Savesage and Goodscore.

I know about visa as I myself use it....not sure about mastercard
Indusind is not providing option to redeem cashback in new indie app. NetBanking also redirects to indusmoments, it doesn't have cash redemption. I contacted customer care, they replied can't find points in my account. But IVR automation clearly recites available points and also getting SMS from Indusind about available points balance. Customer care asked to mail at reachus@indusind. I mailed 3 days ago yet to receive an response from them. Indusind after indie upgradation testing our patience.

Updated (24th May, 2025)

Use Zavo app and pay via IDFC Firstap RuPay debit card and get rewards.

Zavo Play store app -
Zavo Ios store app -

Before moving to another debit card, you might ask why we want to use IDFC RuPay?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, thora bhabnao me bahe gaya

Real answer: The RuPay variant has no extra charges on the Zavo app.

Second thing: With Visa/Mastercard, some merchant names are not eligible, but with the RuPay variant, you will always get the eligible merchant names I mentioned above.

2) SBI Physical RuPay Debit cards/SBI Virtual RuPay Debit Cards:

Okay, first go to the SBI YONO app or SBI Net Banking and apply for the "Virtual RuPay Global Variant" (SBI Virtual Debit Card is Lifetime Free).
Or if you credit card bill is huge then apply SBI Physical RuPay Platinum/Select debit card for higher transaction limit.

W.e.f 5th June, 2025 -

Now all SBI Debit Card - reward value 0.25%
If you spent more than 1 lakh or every 1 lakh spent you will get extra 0.25% milestone rewards

so total 0.50% (if milestone included)

1 reward pts = 0.25 paisa

Monthly reward capping - 10k rewards.

Update - you can do total 10 lakhs spend using SBI RuPay DC and get monthly 10k rewards capping but milestone benefit i think no limit and no monthly capping and not count on monthly rewards capping.

Before moving to another debit card, you might ask why we want to use SBI virtual RuPay ?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, bhabnao me again bahe gaya.

Real answer: Well, the RuPay variant offers rewards at many places—PhonePe, SBI Unipay, PayZapp, Navi, Paytm, Zavo app, Freecharge, BillDesk etc and also no extra charges on some apps using RuPay variant.

You can even pay your Amex and SCB bank credit card bills through BillDesk using RuPay variant.

If you keep using a Visa/Mastercard on just one website, it will get devalued quickly.

The rest is up to you—it's a free country, do whatever you want. But I'll just say, support Indian RuPay card.

More info visit this thread:

3) Bank of India: Better Rewards on All Debit cards (0.46%)

There is a separate post read here and apply Bank of India RuPay Classic/Platinum/Select variant and use on Phonepe app, freecharge app

Why Bank of India RuPay Classic/Platinum/Select variant ?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, phir se bhabnao me..

Real answer: The RuPay variant has no extra charges on the PhonePe app and Freecharge app.

6) RBL Enterprise Debit Card:

1st use -

Note: 1% charge above 1k CC bill pay & i think 2 times per CC bill pay allowed per month (first time use 1k cc bill pay and ask RBL customer care to verify your MCC Code)

View attachment 84813

Now 2nd time Use -

Phonepe app - (well, you can do 5 times 2k cc bill pay and pay only 0.3% charges + 5% upto 500 Cashback)

Merchant name - phonepe recharge

MCC Code - 4814

"PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE IN" gives 4814 MCC. The prob is that merchant name comes very rare.

OTP SMS - PHONEPE RECHARGE
After transaction - PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE IN

Sir Indusind signature select debit card ka system bta do ?

I've multiple CC bill payments to be done and every time when I pay for 4-5 credit card bills, I get an automated call from IDFC First Bank to mark the transaction as genuine.

Last time, even after marking the transaction as genuine, the debit card wasn't unblocked and I had to contact support executive. After some hassle, the debit card was unblocked.

This time, again, same drill but even after marking transaction as genuine, the debit card isn't allowing me make online payments. I even tried purchasing Rs. 10 Amazon Pay Gift Card but that too failed. I've complained to the bank and they're saying max. turnaround time is 5 days.

It's a regular thing now, anyone else faces this as well? And for the last 2 times, after marking the transaction as genuine over automated call, I'm unable to make payments after the call. I think, if I split making payments in a batch of 3 with gap of 2-3 hours in between, this won't happen but I would like to know from others if they face this too and solution they follow (if any).

Hmm iska koi solution? I mailed but they gave procedure of old internet banking how to redeem.. i replied back.. update yourself before replying.. yet waiting another response

So I can only use rupay debit cards on Zavo and save sage?
Yes, for now
Is there any convenience fees to use visa or mc debit cards on gudscore if so then how much is it?
If you're a first time user, you need to purchase their membership for 99, remember to remove the membership renewal before a month else autopay will deduct 99 for the silly membership.

SBI Rupay DC got blocked after the second transaction, and now I'm asked to contact the home branch! My home branch got shifted to another district!

When checking the balance through UPI, it's showing only 10rs! Whereas it should show 50K!

Update: The balance was showing only 10rs on UPI apps, checked PhonePe, Paytm, and others. VDC was blocked, and the activation button wasn't working.

Somehow logged into the World's most secure bank's app(SBI Yono app), had to change password, since they think a normal human being should change password every alternate week.

Transferred the whole balance to my other account through the fund transfer option. I am glad it was only 50K, else they wouldn't have allowed that in 1 day. Also, they showed me 5 moral and financial lessons on the screen before I transferred my own money!

My experience is not more than 3 transactions in a day on these sites or spread transactions in batch of 2 with some gap. In any case daily limit is 1lacs on rupay tap card. Calls can still come now and then but card doesn't get blocked if these calls are answered.
