I also wanted to close next month, but thought might miss it sometimes. So took the call. I actually thought before closing as it was such a beautiful card.

IDFC doesn't entertains waiver, and does not offers retention.

I suggest you to close a week or 15 days prior, just to be on safer side. No last minute things.

I confirmed from the CC that annual fees will be charged on the same day when the card is applied/generated.
