I also wanted to close next month, but thought might miss it sometimes. So took the call. I actually thought before closing as it was such a beautiful card.

IDFC doesn't entertains waiver, and does not offers retention.

I suggest you to close a week or 15 days prior, just to be on safer side. No last minute things.

usually charges the annual fees in the billing cycle that has the card anniversary date and it could be even 15 days before the anniversary date in the same statement
