Tried cancelling my FK Axis card twice after clearing unbilled dues. Both times, they asked me to call again for fee reversal. On the last call, they said the fee would be charged today and to call back today to get it reversed.
So I did. But again, they wasted time trying to retain me. I said no. This time, the fee hadn’t been charged yet, so they said they can’t reverse it—and they also refused to take a cancellation request. Asked me to call again after a few days.
I told them I didn’t want to keep calling and dealing with their useless voice recognition, IVR, CC exec, then cancellation exec chain.
Now he says there’s still an unbilled amount and he can’t cancel it. I asked for an email ID to send a cancellation request after payment, he refused, saying cancellations aren’t accepted over email for “security reasons.”
Neither of the two executives I spoke to during the 20-minute call gave me any email ID.
So, while still on call, I paid the dues and waited for it to reflect. He kept saying he couldn’t help and asked to call again for fee reversal, I kept saying I won’t call again.
After a lot of back and forth, he finally agreed to raise the cancellation request but started trying to push a new LTF MyZone/Neo/some card. I was furious and said no again.
Eventually, he agreed to submit the cancellation request. I asked when I’d get confirmation. he said within 24 hrs. But I’m skeptical.
If I don’t get confirmation, how can I escalate? Didn’t find any email IDs on their contact page.
