Has anyone been able to figure out why exactly are Amazon Pay Gift Vouchers being devalued so much by everyone including Amazon? Why the limits and "convenience fee" only on AGVs? Are these implemented by the banks or by Gyftr?
Even Amazon heavily limits their usage on their own site. Why are they devaluing (demonetising) their own currency? If they all think that too many APay vouchers are being issued and used and traded and they find it to be too much of a headache, why not mandate that they can be used only to buy stuff off Amazon and then close down the Amazon Pay platform altogether? I mean, that they are discouraging the use of Amazon Pay GVs so much only means that don't want people to use it. So why keep it open then?
Amazon is nuts. Build up a whole ecosystem and then put all sorts of curbs on it to keep people from using it.
