My HDFC credit card journey -- Pre-Approved offer finally unlocked

Today I was randomly checking my hdfc mobile banking app, and gess what I saw there is PRE-APPROVED credit card offer.

It's my second Pre-approved offer, after TWO WHEELER loan in previous month worth 1.5 lack, 5 days ago pre-approved two wheeler loan VANISHED.. In my case No dC EMI nothing received yet other than two wheeler loan.


It's MONEYBACK+ Visa with 500 fees. 😂

And checked URL , It goes like , PRE-APPROVED.,

All thanks to community, on their suggestion opened 6 month 7 days ago a Regular saving account ( AMB 0) in my nearest branch offline.
Branch is small that's why they have 0 MAB for regular saving account. Used as PRIMARY account.
And here I am Today .

Don't be so happy...There will be hard CIBIL hit if you only go ahead and check the offer.....It is available for everyone.....I was unaware and check twice and there were 2 CIBIL hits....Pre-approved offer is just a trap.

You should wait for upgrade offers.

They show card list as a lollypop to customer.....once u enter mobile no or pan & enter OTP, there will be hard CIBIL hit even if you decide not to apply for the card. However, as per RBI regulation, there should be CIBIL hit only if credit card application no is generated....Be cautious

Right now, no pre-approved offer is showing in NetBanking, and I haven’t received any email either. The offer started appearing in XPRESSWAY from today .

It is showing only on Expressway. I checked Expressway yesterday, but there was no pre-approved credit card offer. However, today it is showing.

Seems like HDFC has refreshed the pre approved offers for many customers including me. Earlier I had pre approved LTF DCP & now it has refreshed to Millennia LTF. If someone is looking for pre approved offers, you can check HDFC Xpressway portal or net banking for refreshed offers.

Right now, no pre-approved offer is showing in NetBanking, and I haven’t received any email either. The offer started appearing in XPRESSWAY from today .

if you will not give PAN, you will always get basic level card offers which are offered to all 140 cr Indians.

Then , it will be worse for me , I have mentioned wrong occupation ( gov job , salaried anuual incom 7-10 lakh) after suggestion from community.

if you will not give PAN, you will always get basic level card offers which are offered to all 140 cr Indians.

I don't think that's how it works. Pre approved offers are based on your profile. If you are checking with PAN and there was a CIBIL hit that may be not be pre approved, so yeah technically they will show whatever card they want.

Over-time your pre approved will refresh. So when you check with DOB like mine went from Swiggy LTF -> Moneyback paid -> DCP paid -> DCP LTF -> Millennia Paid. This is how it went everytime I checked. I now got Millennia LTF card delivered without CIBIL hit.

they will ask for salary slip or may be ITR also....In financial matters, never ever sharing wrong info...It might put you in big trouble....Do not listen to everything mentioned on public forums...In India, everyone is expert on each & every topic..

When you get the offer, Apply it from RM or credit card department from your branch. There will less likely for a verification.
