Best zero forex debit card

TF Buzz
So far I've been using Niyo Global (DCB + SBM) cards but I want some other banks with 0 AMB accounts and minimal fees. I've come across these options:

- Indusind Bank - Exclusive Debit Card
- SBI - Rupay Platinum JCB & Pragati

Can someone suggest which one will be better and if there's any other card that I'm missing?

Edit: ATM Cash withdrawal is one of the main focus (with minimal fees)

I'm not entirely sure about the SBI option you mentioned, but I would be cautious about Rupay-based debit cards for now, given their potential limitations in acceptance and international coverage.

That said, there are two noteworthy debit card options worth considering:

(1) IndusInd Exclusive Debit Card (Mastercard/Visa)
(2) Kotak 811 Super Visa Infinite Metal Debit Card

Option (1) is a strong offering on its own, but it becomes even more appealing when the associated Exclusive Account is converted to 0 MAB by linking it to an IndusInd Pinnacle/ Indulge Credit Card.

Option (2) is only worthwhile if it's issued lifetime free, which typically applies to NTB customers who open a Kotak 811 Super Account with a minimum IP of ₹81,000. In all other cases, this card comes with an issuance fee of ₹4,999 + GST and an annual fee of ₹999 + GST.

Between Options (1) & (2), I personally prefer the Mastercard variant of Option (1), exclusively for zero forex markup, as Mastercard offers a better exchange rate compared to Visa. That said, if design and aesthetics are important to you, Option (2) is undeniably one of the most elegant-looking cards available 😉

You're right about the acceptance. I'm interested in this because I heard their JCB cards give 0 forex and good discounts on supported merchants(mostly in SEA, Japan).

Thanks for the detailed reply. I think metal cards are a hassle 😀 Anyway will try to get a pinnacle card first and get this exclusive mastercard dc soon.

Does anyone know what happens to Kotak 811 super savings account and this metal card if I don't renew subscription?

I will not recommend the paid Pinnacle card - it's not worth it. There is one option in which the Pinnacle card is issued for a fee, which is reversed, upon some pre-determined spends. Go for that!

rupay card is not accepted anywhere outside india. SBI has very limited acceptability
