RBIO: Got Compensation of ₹10,000 from Canara Bank

@SJM - Apparently, recently, the total number of Banking Ombudsmen were increased from 22 to 24, wherein Chennai and Kolkata got two BOs each. The Kolkata-I Banking Ombudsman is still Mr. Rabindra Kishore Panda (Earlier was for the whole WB and Sikkim region), whereas for Kolkata - II, a newer one was assigned, who is, Miss Mary Lianlunkim Deng. Apparently, your complaints are being forwarded to Miss Deng.
Tell me any district which comes under Kolkata-I

Any idea how I can get my complaints to Kolkata - I?

@SJM — No idea, since the complaints are automatically routed via their Centralized Receipt and Processing Centre (CRPC) platform. And as far as I know, emailing directly to the regional BO isn't permissible by the policy.

Nonetheless, maybe you can try sending a trail email to obo.kolkata@rbi.org.in after registering the complaint on their CMS portal. This now belongs to Kolkata-I, but in my opinion, it's not worth it. (The email ID belonging to Ombudsman for the new BO, Kolkata-II, is: orbiokolkata2@rbi.org.in.)

By the way, from which email IDs have you been receiving your recent replies from (Like in last 4-5 months): from crpc@rbi.org.in or another one? And do they explicitly mention "Kolkata-II" in these recent emails?

Yes, you are right. Complaints cannot be registered by emailing BO directly. They don't even read adhoc mail. Only when you reply to their mails, is when they read it.

All from CRPC
