Devaluation Airtel app levying usage fee on utility payments on Airtel Axis credit card

Airtel started levying usage fees on electricity bill payments while using Airtel Axis credit card on its app. Might add the same for other bill payments also.

I did Jio recharge of Rs 899 via Airtel app/cc and got charged Rs.15.73 as usage fee..!!!

Same for me. So they started to charge convenience fee for electricity, gas booking, non airtel recharges also

Till 2.5K is worth it because we get 250 Max CB

Airtel rupay. While checking the it shows that eligibility check initiated.
But when I click on the kyc link it shows as below

Status will be updated within 2-3 days. No, need to do VKYC when you have SB & CC relationship with Axis.

What Status?? The status is already showing as "eligibility check initiated".
Will they reject the application just because of the reason for not proceeding with vkyc?

Without an eligibility check, they can't let you apply for a card. Application Status will show the decision made by them. By tomorrow, you will get a SMS update.

No, if they need KYC, after the link expires, they will arrange a physical KYC. KYC will not be the reason for rejection for existing Axis customers. KYC is only needed for NTB.

Rejection will be superfast, approval might take time.

I done the vkyc just now. But after giving the information they rejected it. I can see that it's showing " u r not eligible for vkyc".

I paid the North Bihar electricity 1000 bill, and was charged a 1.24% fee. It varies.

That means you don't need to do VKYC.

Actually I done the vkyc. But executive rejected mine.
I think last question she asked my registered mobile number. But I given my secondary mobile number in this application. So i confused and tell her my secondary number(not my mobile number registered with another credit card & account. So may be the reason why she rejected vkyc. Hell.
After vkyc I got a screen below
