Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in May 2025

Is there a limit on no. Of transactions via IDFC First Tap, used on Zavo around 6 transactions passed.
Since then not able to load amazon pay and any other, and they are failing
Customer support says everything looks ok on their end.
Anybody else faced the issue?

IDFC select rupay first tap dc - 1st 1.0lac spend - received 10k reward point.
2nd 1.0 lac spend - received 6k reward point.
It should be 6k and then 10k. so may be idfc reconciling reward point system (or may be random thing)

Same issue has happened with me also, I paid 20k Axis CC bill via Zavo using IDFC first tap on 1 May at 1am. Amount deducted from IDFC bank but not credited to Axis CC account.

As a test, I paid a small amount again to same Axis CC using Zavo on 1 May at 6pm, it was credited to Axis in 5 minutes. But the previous 20k amount is not credited to Axis.

@Abhishek012 - would you suggest to raise a complaint to BBPS or should we wait and watch for few more days?

AFAIK, max daily 8 or 9 works but if you do all transactions frequently then maybe 6 times will work.

Try after 12 am or if not working then wait full 24hrs from your last transaction.

Axis sometimes take 2-3 days to credit some transaction cc bill payment.

Looks like you guys are newbies, first time get Axis cc, Otherwise, you guys don't usually ask such questions. 🤣🤣

Are you sure your both transaction on May month ?

Sometimes, if you make a transaction before 12:30 AM on the 1st of the month, it gets counted in the previous month. 😀😀

what is the need to do transactions at 1am , avoid at night ,do transactions in working hours, some systems go on maintenance at night avoid any high value txns during this time and even banks raise such transactions as fraudulent txns

Exactly. I never understood these late night payers. Raat ke andhere mein Govt se chupa logey paiso ka source? 🤣

To late night workers: Keep things under working hours. Avoid Second/Foruth Saturday and Sunday also for payment or on holidays try after 10AM agar bahot jaruri hai.

amex can't be paid using zavo as amex is not BBPS compliant yet. Use SBI VDC to pay at amex billpay site.

CC bill pay using Kotak 811 Super DC & HSBC Salary DC (0.59% charges but 5% cashback):

Transaction under 1975 the charges are 0.59% beyond that it is 1.18%

Do multiple transaction of Rs1900. (1900x5 times + 500 = total 10k transaction for Kotak 811 Super Debit Card).

Millennia ki list mein 7392 excluded hai for product feature cashback but spend based offers can be used I think.

Is 7392 a fixed MCC or there is any other MCC here on Zavo app?

yes. because last month I have received 30k reward point (max for IDFC select). And last month after 30k reward received, I had done one transaction to check if max limit reached or not? And after 15 days of this transaction no reward point received. So above both transactions are of may months only.

while downplaying our concerns is a neat trick to divert the topic, it seems there's no support available in Zavo app. Phone calls dont get answered, nor does emails. this is even after taking their Prime plan which supposedly gives priority call support via their agents.
