I got the success message of earning it when i had opened the account but still havent recieved any RP yet . Also did the 1k transaction, havent recieved the Welcome RP for that too.

Where did you do the 1k transaction? Did you load money or pay credit card bill?
I did credit card bill payment via phonepe
Yes, but it only shows changes address from aadhar for credit card, maybe you can try it

okay bhai. welcome kit i received it said to do video kyc and upload the signature.
Within IDFC app, no debit card was asked. It allowed to set pin and UPI number.

i have updated address via addhaar of credit card during zero balance offer account setup, it gives me service request number, it says address updated Successfully , it takes 24 hours to reflect in profile.
After Address update it will proceed to Account Creation. Current updated address is needed for Debit card delivery.

Yes, it showed in the app after 24 hours for me, and got delivered in a week time.

No cheque book. Havent uploaded signature yet, there is an option to apply for it in the app. Will do once i upload signature

Why would it show when you already have an account. This offer is only for the credit card holders without a savings account.

IDFC has been giving CC users this offer for some time now. I got the account under the offer last year. Then there was no autopay condition attached.
The account is good for netbanking transactions including IMPS that is free. They also offer decent above if not the best interest rates on FD. Used to have attractive savings account interest rates but not any more, with unrealistic slabs.
But if you are planning to use the account for UPI transactions, particularly UPI-In, then think again, your account can be put on freeze any time without any warning, and then you'll have to go to the branch to try and get it fixed. UPI Out is mostly OK. So decent as a back-up account that can give you good FD interests and offer you realtime free netbanking transactions.
