Yes Bank Credit card Closure

I Applied Yes Bank credit card just for fun..

They offered basic ace card with 3lakh limit..

I was FYF card.. So later i thought I will Bargain for LTF.

WITH In a app I applied for closure and got following message.

I have opened this card November 2021 and the spends are around 20k in the past year and I have paid annual fee too for the last year

Nothing as of now. I tried in several ways. Spent 1.1L within 20 days on my marquee. They are not budging..
Earlier they used to give Reserv (and its older version) on spending 40k within first 30 days.
It seems it was also gone now

Yes, its there on their web site.. not sure whether it is still effective..

I have Yes select that I would like to try upgrading to Elite and convert to LTF through retention route. It’s few months old and I’m disappointed with low limit (1.86L) and poor rewards.
What are the odds of my success?

Also, when I’m trying to put a closure request, app says it will be blocked. Am I correct that it’s not going to be permanently blocked?

I raised it via email. They called me in a day and this was customer support and they asked me to share the bank account details for excess balance refund. Then after 2- 3 days retention team called me asking to continue with the Card
