Why kotak app still shows i have a credit card with them even if i have closed it 4 years back

Hi,
I had applied for a Kotak credit card through the bank agent a few years ago. Although the application was declined, the card was still delivered to me. I had never activated it.

Years later, before the RBI ban was imposed, I tried applying for a new card. However, my application was rejected on the grounds that I already had an existing credit card. At that time, the card also appeared in my CIBIL report.

After multiple complaints, the card was eventually removed from my CIBIL record, and it now reflects correctly. However, the issue within the Kotak app persists—it still shows “Credit Card Details” section despite me not having any active card with Kotak.

I’ve raised this issue several times, and I was assured it would be resolved, but the problem continues.

Why is this still showing in the app? I do not have any active and existing credit card with Kotak.

Any suggestions?

If you have all proofs that the application was rejected then the card was delivered without your acknowledgement then you can drop them a mail or approach RBI Ombudsman if they're not helping/assisting you in any case.

Ofcourse I had passed it on thinking it dods not matter. But i now think if i never activated the card why should i have it in my cibil.

Which is the primary root cause from where is it started.

Btw is kotak now onboarding new credit card applications?
