What all hotel chains give points by booking using aggregator websites like MMT, Yatra etc?

What all hotel chains give points only from their self owned platforms.

Can someone give an exhaustive list for the two categories please

All the major hotel chains give points only if booked through their sites.

Only for Dining and other stuff you can put on membership, rest won't count if booked from third parties

I think in Hyatt there's a way to "Request Missing Stay Credit". Have never used it, but by chance if you have booked Hyatt from aggregator, give it a try.

I'll try and update this by next week.

I tried the same at Westin (Corporate booking), but it didn't work out.

All Major chains only provide loyalty benefits if the booking is done directly with them. If you want to get good discounts like OTAs but want loyalty benefits like points and amenities then you can use special agents who can give you the best of both worlds.

I have had success booking Ramada by Wyndham on MakeMyTrip and still getting points and benefits but no other brands gives benefits with OTAs.

there are agents who have a tie up with the brand like Accor Step program, etc.. They give discounts n u get points for Ur spends also. But using of points gets restricted in some hotels.

Accor, Hyatt, Mariott, For all these, I got status nights as well as points for my stays, it was booked using corporate OTA partner. While check-in I simply asked them to add my membership account to the booking. The most generous was Hyatt in awarding points, they had some 2X promotion going in April month which I registered, So with mere 22 days of stays in London Hyatt, I got some around 1 lakh points which is enough for a vacation. Accor stay was in London as well, Marriott was in India.

What difference it makes, Technically OTA(trip source) is also 3rd party booking for them.
OTA’s are more or less direct affiliates of respective chains (through their agent code) especially those who make corporate bookings. Many chains have explicit mention in their terms that corporate bookings through their registered affliates (depends upon the program) listed are eligible for status nights/tier calculation and respective benefits are applicable to them as well. Whereas aggregators or high volume OTA’s who deal with any & every chain and offer far more services are usually not eligible for the same.

For example this travel professionals portal of Accor explicitly asks for Loyalty card number for the client they are booking stay for

It’s good for corporates (mostly MNC’s who have these facilities) but not an open option for everyone.

Ok, nice information. Thanks for your inputs, I think this is what may have happened in my case, that's why I got points & status nights.

My company uses Amex as travel partner and concur is our frontend tool for booking.

We get points for our stays at Marriott properties & the payment is always done directly at the hotel.
