In my case it is an old joint account in wife's name. VDC is also in her name. I read through this thread & though it was 45-120 days. 15 days is getting ver soon/already over. Let me check

in my case it just took 4 days after vdc generation, rewards started reflecting in rewardz portal, In some case it may take time just wait sbi system is hard to understand😵 if you ask cc they will say debit card need 45 working days to get mapped with rewardz portal.

Reward is same but RuPay variant accepted on all website/apps and no extra charges. Also RuPay is Indian company + SBI bank's core network partner.

Some websites like Zavo, Billdesk website only accept RuPay variant.

You can also pay some banks cc bill before bill generate via billdesk.

Amex and SCB CC bill payment only accept via RuPay.

SBI UniPay is a funny business. It is temperamental and unpredictable. It also depends on the mode of access! e.g., I found out that UniPay via Yono allows CC bill payments only from SBI accounts through netbanking. -- No payment options using even SBI DCs.

It took me 1 day 😂 to get points using vdc
VDC Generated on 30th April and made payment on same day to check and to my suprise on 1st may normal points and bonus points both credited this happened may be because I was using normal physical debit card from long time and rewards portal Just connected my new VDC

Generated VDC on May 1st night from an old SBI account, did a transaction, and saw points credited this morning.

Today I have made card payment from Freecharge using my IDFCFirstTap debit card.
1. The merchant name showed up as “Freechargepaymenttechnmumbai”
2. Didn’t get any reward points for this payment
3. Saved debit card isn’t showing up while paying the payment to select. The card is already saved bur while making the payment the card details are required to be entered, not sure why.

I literally witnessed the option going. It gave me option. I entered card details. It didn't go to OTP page. Then I again tried, entered card details, it said card is not supported. Then when I went again, DC option was gone.
