Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in June 2025

Good Score has a transaction fail problem while they say the amount might get refunded after 24hrs but its not right I tried with 4 transactions:

1. Rs 1,000 HDFC CC Successful "Used Supercoins" Time :- 11.25 PM
2. Rs 1,60,000 HDFC CC Failed "Refund in 24hrs maybe?" Time :- 10.20 AM
3. Rs 1,60,000 HDFC CC Successful "Used Supercoins" Time :- 7.45 PM
4. Rs 1,10,000 HDFC CC Failed "Refund in 24hrs maybe?" Time :- 8.10 PM

Used debit cards:
IDFC WEALTH Debit Card

What are your experiences and are there any limits also is there any way to get successful transactions?
This is what they said
"Sir as i can see your transaction is failed and the ticket is already raised I would like to inform you sir that when the transaction is failed through BBPS system they retry to the transaction and try to make it successful don't worry sir if it not successful by tomorrow then your will get the refund by tomorrow only please be patient and keep your trust in us"- GoodScore
Yes, when your transaction failed, they retry within 24hrs.

also note - debit card refund takes upto 7 days to credit.
 
Transactions on Good score are failing .Tried on 15th may 2025 at 8:15PM. Switching to Zaavo to avoid the hassle of waiting for refund. Zaavo is happening instantly. will comeback to goodscore once Zaavo is out 😛
 
Y'all know, I tried this app around 15 months ago and I paid ₹99 for a month. The most absurd thing was that I canceled the AutoPay from GPay after 2 days thinking that since I have already paid for this month, it should work—but no, whenever I try to use certain features in the app, Enable Autopay would pop-up. At that time, there was no option to pay the bills, so after doing my tests, I posted 1-star review with Pros & Cons on the Play Store and after a few hours, I received phone calls in which they asked the reason (although I've had already wrote that in detail in the review).

One more thing, one of my closed loans was showing as "active" in the app which was otherwise closed 2 months ago, and that was updated in all other Score-checking portals (GPay, IndMoney, Poonawala, etc.) to which their rep said "it's because the fin.ins has not updated it from the backend." I shared my guess that it could be due to AutoPay which I don't want to enable, so he literally asked me to remove the review and in favor, he'll refund the amount to me. I refused and cut the call because I wanted other people to know what's exactly going on, and afterwards I received around 20 calls from different people and hierarchy (that's what they said—from the manager to the engineer of their Bengaluru-based startup 😂) in the next two days.

Finally when I lost my temper, the manager-guy explicitly asked to remove the review in a harsh tone, to which I asked "otherwise?" and then he shifted to polite manner, "we'll give you full refund + complete access to the app + priority support + something else (I don't exactly remember)." I simply said that I agree to change the rating from 1-star to 3-star and remove certain words from the review JUST BECAUSE HE ASKED ME TO COME BACK AFTER 6 MONTHS TO CHECK IF THEY'VE IMPLEMENTED THOSE SUGGESTIONS OR NOT. I denied the possibility to return to their platform but wham—here I am again (just like my ex who came back in my life out of nowhere)! 😜
Yes even my report show loans as old as 2019 still active even now while they are closed long back😛
 
my issue is..paymnet showing sucess but not received in card..4 days gone...Already made a dispute with idfc
Once you file dispute, it will take upto 90 days to credit.

If you dnt file dispute, you will get refund within a week or max 2 weeks.

Dispute is a "Brahmastra", use this weapon only when you 100% sure, you will not get refund automatically.

Also mention till how many days later we can dispute a transaction.
So ppl will have peace of mind and when the transaction is disputed the customer service should not ask why did you wait so long to compain
 
I paid goodscore app 25k bill and it showed money sent to recipient but bill payment has not been settled . So transaction failed. But then i didn’t get any refund .

Are they actually scamming people ?
If they can't credit it to the Card they will refund the amount within 24 hrs. Happened once to me.
 
has anyone got an refund from the app " Goodscore for failed transactions ?
Yes I got for SBI Cashback card. when the transaction failed because SBI won't allow to pay the statement bill completely. I tried with a lower amount than the bill and transaction was successful. the failed transaction amount got refunded within 24 hrs.
