Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in June 2025

My transaction for 8k+ was debited from Kotak 811 super account via debit card, and failed. It shows it will be refunded in 24hrs, lets see 🙂

Another transaction of 5k via idfc debit card was successfully debited from bank but the app voice msg stated the transaction failed. Both my 8k and 5k transaction shows pending in history section. Let's see, it states 48hrs to confirm with the bank.

Rewards received on idfc instantly!

Yes.

"PHONEPE PVT LTD" merchant name also eligible, mcc code 7399 (mostly we get on visa/mastercard dc)
"Phonepe Recharge" - telecom category
"Phonepe Private Limited" - mcc 5399 (General Merchandise)
last 2 merchant name mostly get on RuPay debit card.
however, you will get all merchant names on all card networks.
IDFC DC - all eligible.
other DC - check mcc code eligible or not and pay.

Visa me kabhi kabhi dusra merchant name aa raha hai, maine verify nahi kiya usse.

I have done around 7 transactions all have come same for me.

Got PHONEPE PRIVATE LTD and most probably did not get any reward points. Anyways to check if the transaction earned reward points or not ?

Check the points before and after the transaction. as the reward points are getting credited immediately.

Try mrng 6 am or after 7 am

The weird thing is I paid ₹99 today only and then stopped Auto pay….now the app asked me to pay again.

Whoever is using it, use Rupay cards only. No mdr in rupay, so app will stay longer.

You guys should cancel the UPI Autopay from UPI app Autopay section.
