Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in June 2025

while redeeming points from SBI rewards it say you can redeem only 30 percent via points ..ie means for amazon voucher of 5000 i can only use 6000 points ie means have to pay 3500 for that ..points are of no use now ...SBI VDC OVER NOW ....SAME IS HAPPENING WITH OTHERS PLEASE SHARE ..please share any trick to use 100% points @Abhishek012

you can redeem 100% towards your cc bill, still the best

SBI reward points are best for CC payment. Nobody gives discount to CC bill. But we can get card discounts on other things like flight bookings.

BBPS credit card bill payment can be reversed. I am kind of double mind paying cc bill using vdc points. What if sbi decide to reverse points and possible payments made by it. 😀

On 9th June 2025 at 6:27 PM, I paid ₹2000 towards my SBI Credit Card using my IDFC First Bank debit card via the Zavo app, but I received a 505 error page and the app got stuck. After restarting, the transaction was not visible in Zavo, but the amount was debited from my IDFC account and not credited to my SBI card.

It’s been 3 working days with no update or refund. when I can expect a refund or successful credit....?

Contact zavo, someone got the same issue in this thread and contacted customer care for resolution

if its already credited, dont worry.. no penalty, or cibil impact for those payments. Just have to pay in fresh month when they requested again

Happened to me. But next day I got the transaction ID. They said they will refund. Mail support and they will reply for sure. Since I got white screen and nothing during the transaction I raised a dispute with IDFC. that's a bummer for me now.

No way to prepay HDFC bill via IDFC bill pay. You can only prepay in HDFC app or payzapp
