Which card you took out of FOMO and later regretted or closed?

The envelope and packaging looked exactly like a proper bank credit card. Turned out to be just a decorated piece of plastic. U have to make a purchase of Rs.600 or more on some specific overpriced brands to get Rs.100 discount. I would have preferred their Rs.99 cable for free instead.

I have a super useless 🪓 Select LTF and I don’t know why I got it.
It has befriended the other useless cards and their permanent address is my bed side drawer 🏠

Every Tom Dick & Harry influencer is BALLYHOOING the 🪓 Atlas 🌍 and I feel like having it just for the heck of it!!

Is it possible to call the Customer Care or Local Branch and ask for this card as a floater to the already existing Select with shared limit?
Paying the fee is 🆗 as they will give 2500 miles which is equivalent to 5K I guess.
If yes, are they going to check CIBIL again?
Saw an Insta video last night and the guy said CIBIL won’t be checked in this scenario.

LOL I never thought I would do this at all.
I took the paid EPVC and closed it on the very same day. It was coming pre-approved in iMobile for long.
For many months and maybe an year, I kept on hold.
Last week I applied. Card number generated immediately and visible under Cards.
I immediately called customer care and raised a cancellation request. Card closed yesterday.
Joining fees won't be charged as per them (because I haven't activated the card yet)
But I received the card by post today. It is a nice packaging - a box and some booklets etc.
It even included the priority pass card 🙂

If at all they charge joining fee (which is highly unlikely), I have got confirmation from cust care and headservicequality that it will be reversed.

No regret though. Just wanted to see how it looks, so I applied and cancelled. I would have kept it if they had given it LTF to me.
I could have bargained for an LTF conversion, that's the only thing I could have done before closing it.

The card and its packaging looks gorgeous. No wonder y u got tempted to apply it. I am also seeing it in my preapproved list in imobile. Somehow holding my temptations of applying for it.🥲
