When this Paytm PB will become Small finance bank?

I mean it's long due, why they're not going for it, it would do good for customers, like easy credit card approvals, instead of depending of Co Branded Cards like Hdfc & Sbi, same goes for Airtel Payments Bank

They are not even allowed onboard new customers, how could they think of becoming a SFB.

SFB banks are not allowed to sanction credit cards until they have special approval from RBI.
