Union Bank Rupay Select Instakit

Today at 9am I filled the Savings Bank Accoun (SBGEN) form online. It has 1k MAB with cheque and 500 MAB without. I had to upload my photo, signature, address proof etc in the form. After completing took its printout along with AADHAR and PAN Printout and two photos to bank. They verified the details, I asked for Rupay Select. The lady asked other staff which card was available and he gave an kit. (On that KIT Select/Platinum wasn't mentioned). But when she entered in her system, it came Select. Debit card was activated instantly and I am able to use the account without any issuel. By far the quickist of all 8-9 accounts I have opened.
PS: Select Branch carefully, merged banks nearby union branch has 'eCB' code. I went to a different branch at 2'o clock, had to wait half an hour since it was lunch time. At 2:30, the staff told me that my selected branch was some 100m away. Apart from this hassle and a probable "link fail hai', everything was quick and easy.

can anyone confirm about union bank? because i visited two branches they said only HNI customers can get RUPAY SELECT. can we apply through an online website if we open a normal account 1000/-.

Open 1 lakh mab account. Apply for card. Later downgrade the account

it is good to with bank of Baroda instead. they require only 20000.

I think card charges are more in bob

i have checked today, pnb needs AQB 50000 for rupay select in the system, it got an error pop-up. and bob needs 20k.

bro can you check though online website where they provide multiple option. may be you get rupay select. if you got it, kindly let us know.

I checked. Only QSPARC DC Rupay and VISA Classic are available.
There's no option of RUPAY SELECT.
I already have Rupay Platinum
