Too many calls by hdfc credit cards section

Hi All

I was getting too many calls from HDFC cc agents , when I asked how they got my number they said bank gave

I got irritated with the calls as they were speaking in hindi inspite of asking them to speak in English. So I took call n cut the call immediately and blocked the number

Same person again tried to call from different numbers and then I took and scolded her

She said the reason as since I did not answer call she kept on calling. Daily 4 to 5 times

I said I don't know Hindi in Hindi and said speak in English or in my known languages

She cut the call and never called back

Why at first bank should share data of a person who already has a cc

I also have dnd enabled but still got calls as it was from personal number.
